Your "sndvol32.exe"'s location, file size, date and time stamp are all exactly as they should be.
What seems to be the problem?

i still don't have a volume icon and no sounds come out of my speakers.
and my speakers do work because i tried it on my friends computer.
Not much to go on ... other than XP and "no sound".
