That's about it. As far as the question from amathis, what I did was put a $2.00 spitter at the point just before the jack on my main PC where the outside line connects. At that point I used a 15 ft line cord through the wall to my wifes machine, the same hole that the cat 5 wire runs through for the network, and plugged that into her modem socket.
