What can you tell me about the below startup gopal?
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CrazyTalk Serve] rundll32.exe C:\WINNT\System32\CrazyTalk.dll,DllServeMediaFile
Is CrazyTalk installed on your PC?
Earlier i had installed this crazy talk server and removed also now it is not installed in my system.
Thanks
Ok, we are looking at an orphaned registry entry then. Let's fix it and see if it helps.
Close Internet Explorer and all open windows and run Hijack This again. Check the below entries and click on Fix Checked.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CrazyTalk Serve] rundll32.exe C:\WINNT\System32\CrazyTalk.dll,DllServeMediaFile
Reboot and post a new log. Do you notice any difference gopal?
After doing as u said still my system is booting very slowly

Both of the below startups are Resource Hogs and you should be fine without them. Try fixing the below entries using Hijack This (dont delete your backups yet though in case you need to put them back).
O4 - Startup: OpenOffice.org 1.1.3.lnk = C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org1.1.3\program\quickstart.exe
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE
Reboot. Any better? If not, try uninstalling and reinstalling your AV. It may be the culprit.
i tried every thing as you said but no result
I dont think your problem is caused by malware gopal. You have a clean log and next to nothing showing in your startups but it wouldnt hurt to run one last scan.
Go here and download and run Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware Utility. Set it to make a restore point before you fix anything and also to quarantine any files that you fix. It does throw a few false/positives so post what it finds here before fixing anything (name of malware found and filename and filepath).
If this doesnt do the trick, I'll transfer your topic to the Windows 2000 forum for more help.
In my system i dont have internet explorer 6 and above. i downloaded the microsoft antivirus but i coudnt install to my system
So is you problem that the system boots slow or you can't install the MS Anit Virus ?
The description doesn't seem to match the thread topic.
EDIT
Ignore this response, it was in relation to another therad that has now been merged with this one.
It's possible that installing your Service Packs will fix your problem gopal. Why not give it a try? YOur OS is wide open to all sorts of nasties without the updates.
i updated service pack 4 to my system but still it boots slowly
what system??
The one in this thread http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...hreadid=180486
Gopal as I said yesterday, stop posting new threads when you should just be replying to exsiting ones.
Photolady merged all your other threads with the one I've linked to so just reply in that one.
Have merged both threads
Gopal
