Finally the isearch,the auto-link search page and the greyed out toolbar is gone for good.Although i took quite some time with lots of help from u guys it really help.How i did it
1)I run hijack this program (It work on some program removal although not completely)
2)removed IE 6 and reinstalled(auto-link and the greyed toolbar still exists)
3)follow wat "Crunchie" advised(doesn't work on me)then download the adaware 6.181
4)Run adaware and reboot system then ..........
my computer back to its normal self without all the above.Only now i have a few extra program in my system.Thanks guys for the help i really appreciate it.

iSearch Toolbar

I dl'd and ran all the previous mentioned programs (adaware, search and destroy, shredder and hijack this) and am still having the problem of not being able to search from the address bar. Here's my hijack this log. any help is appreciated. (note I already deleted some items that I saw in other peoples logs that they were told to get rid of.)

update

I should note that after using the beforementioned programs and deleting some of the common files I saw in the log that now when I try an address bar search, for example if I type in shoes, the address bar has this url in it:
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?s...RM=AS6&q=shoes

but nothing is displayed in the browser and/or sidebar (where the favs, search media bars go). so its just a blank page (and yes it loads fully)

it wont let me dl adaware and i use my virus scan and spybot regularly. i think this prog has control over my computer. i need to get this thing the hell off! if there is anything else i need to do let me know, but i think thats the best i can give you right now.

thank you so much P3-450. my computer feels brand new again. maybe if i do this with the computer i have at school it might start to work again. its amazing all the c**p that gets stored on a cpu. thanks again, you saved me alot of money with diagnostics and alot of headaches with trying to get my computer to work.
