I'm all for using ad/popup blockers and such myself guys. But I guess the point I would make is that in a case like this having something like this simply "mask" an underlying problem. And since it is not necessarily so unusal that people coming here would not have the latest greatest flash plugin (since IE comes with V5 by default) proper viewing of the site pages really shouldn't be dependent on such a thing. Pages at a place like a VDR really should be as "browser friendly" as possible.
I think its down to an underlying fault in the flash coding if it produces an unintelligible response when viewed with a incorrect or corrupt plug in.
Yup, may be. But also it demonstrates somewhat sloppy page coding in that if there are dependencies (for the plug in) they are not being checked on the user's machine and either compensated for or the user given the options of updating the plugin.

Hi I have this ad running now and I am waiting to use my computer, with task manager running always on top my cpu cycles are looping to 100% every 4-5 secs with this ad. Now I have the older version of flash, so I can live with it , however as usual I find myself agreeing with DrMDJ.
