you can also stop those lexmark programs from running at startup your printer will print on demand from the keyboard or from the page you are printing will help some more, however do you have an antivirus program running maybe i overlooked it, you should have and you should try a firewall for your protection you can get one from zone alarm free
I'm moving tomorrow and it will be a week before I have internet service. NO, I have not installed a antivirus program YET! I will look to make sure I don't have the printer on start up. Thanks again. :)
