As mentioned elsewhere, I had to take a shortcut on the "Delta Maxx" project. After I wrecked...I mean upgraded...the Emachine, I was going to get started in earnest on the new one. Oh well, no need to build now. However, there is still the matter of the Emachine. I think maybe a cheap mobo and a new PS might bring "Lazarus" back from the grave. Perhaps we will give it a try later on. BTW, maybe while we are at it, we'll get that TNT2 card in as well. I believe it survived, but not positive. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

maxx Take the time with a good light to look over your mobo and check all the capacitors and stuff and see if one is not burned ,broken, or damaged in anyway. You might even be able to smell it.
Just a thought that you might have recieved a electrical spike.

Hmmm, Zzzz...oh - well, it's 1.40 AM here, I might as well get to bed and continue my doing there - after this sleeping pill...anyway, I think it's a good thing that somebody takes - yaarrhn - time to make a thorough description of procedures and solutions here. But two questions. Using a full tower could you set up two complete systems - one for 98 and one for whatever Bill is selling at the time. If possible could it take separate power supplies. just thinkin' while driving home. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
