On most of the reviews for Riven, even some of the "purists" were recommending an occasional referring to a strategy guide; there were some areas that without one, you'd be going around in circles forever, tearing your hair out. Well...I've lost some hair since Riven came out; have little to spare for Exile. May get the guide and have it handy, just in case. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Like you, I'm not much of a gamer, but when it comes to MYST or THIEF, I go to the netherworlds and don't come out for days....
