I noticed that some threads have a "Similar Threads" box at the bottom with links to threads which are supposed to be similar :). Firstly, good idea, I like it. I guess the VBulletin software picks the threads that are supposed to be similar (although they are not really similar at all), but what is the criteria for being a "similar thread"?
See attachment for example.
EDIT
I just noticed in the attachment I sent that the word "upgrade" appears in all the "similar threads" including the original thread. How does the software know to pick that specific word?
Sorry if this has already been suggested (too lazy to read all), but it would be nice to have a line under the sticky threads like these people.

Can't seem to get any answers here anymore, Philgo. :(

Sorry guys, you will have to wait until Joe gets a chance to look at it as he is the one who can make these types of changes. BJ
I do read them, when I have time, but not enough time to look into the ones that are possible yet. As to the similar threads question, I assume it looks for other term matches in common, other than the 1 you searched on.
Joe,
In the previous version of vBulletin, if I read a thread, I was able to click a subscribe link on the thread's webpage.
Unfortunately, it does not seem to be possible in the new version unless I post a reply.
If possible, I think that this ability needs to be added back into this version. Or maybe I have just overlooked the link for doing this.
Thanks,
Linda
Yes, it's there Linda. Click 'Subscribe to This Thread' under the Thread Tools.
Ecross,
Thanks. I found it.
Cheers,
Linda
