I really do not care about hearing all that racket from games. I can be thrifty on the sound card.
I know better than to get the win modem. But how about those external modems? Are they more expensive, better or worse, or just different ?

Tooka look at that case--looks pretty good, except for one thing: no removable side panels; you have to take the whole case cover off to get inside. To be honest, that design is a little dated. A lot of cases nowadays are designed so you can remove either side separately--makes it easier to get in there. I think that's a feature you need to be looking for.
QoH: No real appreciable difference between internal and external modems (external modem owners would probably refute me on this https://discussions.virtualdr.com/). Really a matter of space and portability.

Hi All, Busy as usual, I see. Leaving Dallas now for home. Just happened to find a computer to get on. I have a different perspective of these "retail computer stores" than I did before. Sort of matches QoH's looking trip. Gotta go. Be well.
