hi my name is faith6454. I computer and forum stupid. I am learning...slowly. My mother gave me my first computer . It's an Hp pavillion. I use windows mill. Right now my computer is freezing up alot. I have looked in my books, to no avail. I have contacted "geeks', and are waiting for their call back...at $1.99 a min!! So I came here. Donot know where else to go. And I have all my banking inffo along with lots of important info on my commputer. Can't believe it's not freezing right now...letting me get this out!! You've come to the right place, VDr. is great! However, I might suggest that you post your problem in the forum under "hardware" since it could be a hardware problem. If not, one of the mods will move it.

Faith, have you tried starting a thread in the technical forum regarding your problem? The only thing you'd have to pay is to put up with lame jokes from the mods :D

my name is Kim and I am from alabama
I have been having issues with my e machines desktop, that has win xp, showing a couple of error messages.
I am trying to fix them, without just saying forget it, and never logging back on lol..
I went to emachines support site, and all they wanted to do is sell me stuff, (imagine that!)...not much help there (especially with the 5th & final contact).
I am very frustrated here, but I wanted to take a min to say hi
