Question to ask : long boot up process in win98, anyone can help?!

Should be able to help with all the experts here. Posting a screenshot of your Windows Task Manager window after bootup, and/or a list of the checked items in Msconfig>Startup window should be good for starters. Also what version of 98 you have. Post in the Win98 forum I'd guess; if I'm wrong the administrators will move it where it belongs.

Also work in the Home Health field. Widowed, 1 married daughter, several grandchildren-2 make their home with me, and numerous pets. (And I mean numerous!)

I found the link to here from "The Rough Guide", Website Directory, 2005 edition. I don't know much about computers :confused: in fact I know nothing. I shall be back here from time to time asking (Begging) for help in words of one sylible. (Or less?)
I'm a "Silver Surfer". More salt & Pepper actualy, & I find some aspects of the 'puter world confusing. Too many initials, too much goboldygook. However what is life without a challenge ;)
