I guess we could try another color, but I do prefer a good contrast for easy reading.
How about white?
Off white would do for me I believe.
Anyone else have a suggestion?
I didn't mind the grey, but the light blue isn't bad either.
This lite blue looks BAD;)
For me,the white background behind the black print,is hard on the eyeballs...
A turquoise and off-white may work, with a darker frame.

I like it like this page now looks. I cannot remember what it looked like before. I was OK with that, too.
As Ridgerunr said I would not want to have to read posts that are black against a white background.
Maybe I'll put a 4th choice in the poll.
IMO the light blue steals the attention away a tad too much -- I like something like #b9d3ee better.
But then again, if I don't like what you end up with I'll just override it with Stylish for Firefox anyway. :)
Change the color and put in a wet bar.
That extreme a change I can't make. The colors have to have something to do with the header

Personally I like it this way and the old way. It's when there are bright or highly contrasting colors that I run into problems reading. I find reds, greens and yellows are usually the worst combos for fonts and backgrounds. (light text on a dark background is horrible too)
And it could get me fired too! :D:)
subtle changes are fine ... but please don't make it yellow :D

Using Avant behind proxomitron and ZA Pro,just tries FF with same resultCookies enabled for log in but I`ll try it without firewall.
