Operation Delta 24
We now begin Delta 24 and which is really a continuation of Operation Delta 23 due to the subject of overclocking, tweaking and peaking. We have seen the overclockers and they is us. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ One item of note is in the use of toothpicks - interesting to say the least. We have again been priveledged by lofty statements from on high. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ This is fun, but I for one wonder about the amount of info we're taking in. But one thing is very evident and that is a person can build a computer with help from the members of VirDr and learn as you go, then when you hit the switch, the newly built computer comes up without a major glitch.
If you have a question, please ask. Opinions are also welcome.

That statement says it best of all.
QOH
I held back on a couple items, but I think someone may apply some force.
She saw a ad for a K7-TBird 1.1GB for $239 and 256MB PC133 for $87 today and started asking questions. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ Reasonable upgrade I think https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Just finished making a "blowhole" with fan on the top of the case--looks rather nice, I think...and the system temp has gone down about 3-4 degrees. Not bad. Looks like a a "whale' of a case......ooooooo....sorry, couldn't resist. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Got the fans (still waiting for the 120 to put in as the intake) from Case Etc.. Ordered the fans, aluminum filters and grill there. Ordered round ATA cables at
2CoolTek. They're on the way too. The 2nd shipment from Case Etc. will include a case "badge" that looks similar to the the Intel "Pentium Inside" logo that says "Overclocked PIII Inside"---couldn't resist it. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/

https://discussions.virtualdr.com/Ohhhhhhhhhh! I gotta have one of those stickers!!! https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
Hey I like those cables. Lots neater ! I hate those jumbled up looking flat ones! Did you get all three?

My apologies. Ordered the cables from
PCCables, not the other site (still a great site though). Ordered two ATA cables--already rounded my other ones by hand---not a job for the jumpy https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ .
