When I go to www.ebay.com, on my laptop it goes into a file download mode and asks to save file/run from here for a download catalyst.2roam.com. I've ran it, saved it, or tried again, but can't get into ebay.
what is that download? I don't have this issue on my desktop.

I believe it has something to do with wireless ebay access, but I'm hooked up to a LAN.
Maybe it is an IE problem???

The link you have listed is bad. I think you have a period at the end of the com, try this See if you can access it through this link...JJ
That period is on the post only.
2roam is a wireless internet company. I can't go to www.2roam.com either without getting the same download issue.
