Unless you're running your DOS session from within Win95 or 98, then the simple answer is no - DOS doesn't understand the long filenaming convention designed by Microsoft - it see's only the truncated version of the filename. If it can be done, then it'll be by a third party piece of software... http://dev.discussions.virtualdr.com.../1998/10/1.gif
