Hi Andre,
I'd go to Start, Run and type msconfig in the Run line. Look in the Startup section to see if that application is listed, and can be unchecked.

i have had the exact same message when i was messing with bootmagic after having a win98/xp dual boot controlled by XP. After using bootmagic and then removing it i recieved that error.
