Problem with system boot

I use Windows XP Professional. I have two drives: C: with Fat 32 and 30 Go, where the system is installed, and D: with NTFS with 80 Go, just a storage disk. I am the only user of the computer.Now the problem: when I start boot, I have to choose "Windows XP Professional" and "Windows (default). If I choose the second option, Windows wants to repair the system. I tried that, but it does not accept my password. Anyway, I don't need to make a repair, except that I want to erase the second boot option. I tried the command CFG /delete /id 2 but it did not work, even if the file boot.ini contains only one id., which is weird. It shows this:
