VPN Port
Guys,
I am trying to secure my Firewall for VPN access.
Does anybody know the Port Numbers Windows 2000 VPN connects at?
Or how anybody else has managed to get around this issue.
The problem is the clients are coming in across an ISP on DHCP addresses.
Thanks.

I can't begin to tell you how many KB articles there are at support.microsoft.com referencing "setting up a vpn connection"
But the short answer is, on a cisco firewall
>permit tcp any any eq 1723
>permit gre any any
also, in RRAS create an access profile for pptp to start. don't start with LT2P. get it working first.
good luck
