When I try and ping any IP address other than 127.0.0.1, I receive the following message "PING: Transmit Failed, error code 65"... What does this mean and how can it be fixed?
If ICMP packets are being discarded, you could be blocked by a firewall (ZoneAlarm, etc.) or your TCP/IP stack is corrupt. Uninstall recently installed third-party programs, search for spyware using adaware, logon with a different account, reinstall TCP/IP, reinstall Win2k...
