CANNOT CHANGE PASSWORD---HELP!!!!!

When trying to change my NT password via Windows 98 I receive a screen asking me to change my Microsoft Networking password...This happens immediately AFTER I enter my old password and enter/confirm my old password. The problem is that when I get caught in this loop, I lock the account out. The funny thing is the password ends up changed.....What is going on here, and how can I prevent that message box from appearing?

I tried to paste the print screen, but the UBB will not let me paste.(?? another problem?)

I can send along a file via email however in case someone has an answer for me....
