Netware 3.12 login

When I try to login to the Novell 3.12 Server, I get the follwing error message.

You cannot be authenticated on <server> due to the following reason. The system cannot find the path specified.

Do you want to select another preferred server or context?

Now I compared the configuration of this computer to a working one and the settings are the same. The connection is fine because I can log in sometimes. Plus I can see all the NT computers on the network. Yet I can't connect to the Netware server. Does anyone know a fix to this? Thank you for your time.

did you look at the frame rate of your network adapter? i had the same problem a while back, i could see all the nt servers, just not the Novell/netware server. also, can you find the netware server by doing a "find computer" ? if so, does it find it? if it DOES find it i would recomend trying a new frame rate for your net card. it worked for me. hope this helped...

Try changing the NIC. Some NIC's don't handle IPX/SPX too well.
