D:\Norton folder opens on boot?

Just upgraded to 98 ,so I'm not completely familiar with its behaviors.When I boot there is a window that opens on my desktop to display the contents of d:\Norton ,how can I stop it?I've checked startup folder ,msconfig,ctrl+alt+del ,even strolled through the REGISTRY ,and SYSEDIT files ,but can't find any references to d:\Norton.

Not clear from your post if you actually have any Norton products installed, and if so, which one(s)? If you happen to have SystemWorks on the machine, have a look at this document.

Thanks that helped ,seems having Norton email protection at boot up, was causing the d:\Norton Folder to open eventhough I have NAVirus installed on my C:\.Norton Internet Security and Norton System works are in the D:\ folder,but I had disabled both of those at boot,so couldn't figure why my D:\ was being called upon.

I knew the answer was probably simple and sometimes just trying to explain it to someone else helps ,especially when given a helpful link for direction. https://discussions.virtualdr.com/
