Firefox profile

What ho one and all,

My wife is running Firefox ESR (I can't remember the version) with W8.1.

She does not know what she did, but it all went AWOL. As her tech-expert (!) I attempted to restore via Troubleshoot Mode, which made a backup of the profile folder and restarted FF. All is working but with none of her bookmarks nor toolbar, etc.

I have been into about:profiles but cannot see how I can import the backed-up profile. Finally, I did mange to copy it and although it is showing in about:profiles, there is no option to select it.

My questions is, how can I get her old profile installed andworking again?
