Ram Installation Query?

I have a Dell XPS 8930 which I have had for several years. Its has 16gb's of ram. I decided to upgrade it to 32gb's.

My question is how to arrange the chips. At the present the 8's are in the white slots . I understand that the white slots are the primary slots?
Should I go 16/8 in the white & black or should I go 16's in the white & 8's in the black ? Or???? Thanks in adavnce............

It shouldn't matter which slots as long as you keep the same size DIMMs in the same color slots.

Slots: 4 (2 banks of 2)
Maximum memory: 64GB

2 x white = 1 bank
2 x black = 1 bank
