monitor will go to sleep when starting up windows 10

When my PC windows 10 is powered on with power button my printer detects power and my monitor detects power but within seconds will go to sleep and I then have to manually pree the power button on the monitor to power it up.. Its been over a year of this and I still haven't given up in trying to get this fixed ..

The monitor ( HP 2011x (updated )will not go to sleep again until I tell it to.. but it is frustrating that i n all the years of various windows platforms I have never had this issue before ..

Ideas ??
