E-mail address

What how one and all,

Not really an internet issue, but not sure where to post it.

Am currently filling in some pdf forms, to apply for ????? but my question relates to virtually all forms that need filling on the internet pdf or written by hand.

They always ask for name, address, d.o.b, phone number, etc, BUT they always ask for the e-mail address, twice. Why twice if the other information is only once?

It's to verify you typed the correct address. Most will tell you if the second one doesn't match.
