[RESOLVED] Reducing size of mp4
What ho one and all,
I have a number of mp4 videos that I would like to burn to a DVD. Unfortunately, the combined size is larger than 4.5gb. The average size of each vid is around 500mb. The simple answer is to reduce to around 350 - 400 mb. I know there is a slight reduction in quality, etc, but other 350mb (and smaller) mp4 vids I have look just fine for entertainment purposes.
But I am having no luck. Handbrake on its basic settings ends with a larger file; same with Any Video Converter or Freemake Vid Converter There must be an easy way to reduce the file size by 20%? I have tried reducing the size, resolution, frame rate, sampling rate, etc, but I don't really understand what I am doing and why reducing any of these gives me a larger file.
Grateful for any advice.
Toodle pip and thanks
Rex
