I would go ahead and let it do it's thing.
It shows my active license there ,why would I purchase another
Just to make sure you know - entering a key code and activating a key code are two separate steps.
And, you probably don't need to purchase another one. Simply try activating, (or re-activating) the same one.
Check the latest updates for your operating system, they can also hide the answer.
