Laptops vs. Notebooks...is there a difference?
I’m looking at this LenovoY50 notebook: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...5_6_black.html
and this ASUS notebook: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...s8_1_15_6.html on BH&H only due to no tax.
Also, I also see similar laptops on Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834317540 with the same 15.6" 4K 3840 x 2160 anti-glare screen and the ASUS ROG GL551: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834232121 .
I’ll be using it for PhotoShop CS6 and Lightroom 5 with plug-ins like NIK and Topaz Labs that can slow things down.
The 2 BH&H “notebooks” look the same as a laptop. Is there any difference between notebooks and laptops or is it more of a marketing label? The BH&H ASUS notebook does not have the “ROG” label. I know netbooks are smaller and designed for basic computing.
I live in southern CA and Newegg is an hour away which is an advantage for delivery, possible DOA, etc.
Thanks,
Mike
