Can I let my Wifes windows stay like 8.1??

If you are asking how to get the old Start Menu, try Classic Shell.

If you want your wife's account to remain on 8.1, don't enable Classic Shell for her account.

Creating a new account is still basically the same. I would create a LOCAL administrator account for her.Quote:
