Hi Train
I was aware of that feature before I posted my question into the forum.
but that is for changing timestamp which I don't want to do that,,,,unless there is a trick I might not be know it
If the date/time is on the face of the picture, that I have no idea how to get rid of.
I killed that option on my camers years ago.
I don't want to get rid of a date , I want to insert date (not a time) into the face of a picture same to this :Quote:

Thanks fink
I don't want to add time only date.
It seems to me that FastStone is not capable to do that
45.
Use Batch Convert to Add Text, Watermarks, Borders, Etc.)
Read the part on adding water marks, just use that to add the date.
I normally use Paint shop pro from back in Windows 98 days, to add stuff like that
Batch convert - rename
Tick use advanced options
Click advanced options
Click Text tab
Insert variables required
Eg ($H4)-($H3)-($H2)
That would put day-month-year as read from exif embedded in file by camera.
Then click convert and make sure you save to a new directory and don't overwrite old versions.

Thanks Winters
Have you tried that ? I had tried that and still it is resizing,,,,Can you cross check and let me know
Regards
Check the Advanced Options screen, Resize tab, that you have not ticked the box and made any alterations.
I checked and the pictures are not resized , obviously since jpegs are lossy saving to jpeg from a jpeg will change file size ( and reduce image quality a bit ), but you can from Output Format - settings change the quality of the resultant save, might as well just set it to max quality.
I see this was my confusionQuote:

That fixed the resizing issueQuote:
