We have been trying to down load a netscape update, and get an error message that says "missing .DLL file"....has happened a couple of times. Where do we go to get the missing file? I assume we have had the DLL files in the past, but it must to have "disappeared".....can someone please help with this? Thanks
Thanks for your reply. I just looked at the message and it says; A required .DLL file,.DLL was not found. We thought it was the netscape DLL file since we were trying to update the browser and got that message. We do not have the Netscape disk, we got netscape with an internet service we used to subscribe to and have been doing the upgrades from the net. So now what?
my suggestion would be to download Netscape Communicator 4.76 and re-install it from fresh.
It will not download the update from netscape because the .DLL file is missing, but we will try to download the whole thing and see what happens. Thanks for your help and will let you know if it will download
