Did not have any luck. Unless I'm missing something. I can access Mozilla which lists the dll files. Search produces nothing.
You didn't have any luck with what? Many of the links shown from the link I posted show you exactly where the profile and address book data is stored.

I'm dealing with an external drive. It will not allow the steps suggested. I can get the drop down list within "Program Files" and DLL. I cannot do this step >>> To find the location of your profiles folder, open T-bird -> Tools -> Account Settings. Under "Server Settings" for each acct in the left pane, read the "Local directory:" in the right pane.
It might help if you supplied a little more information on exactly what you are trying to do. Do you or do you not have Thunderbird installed on the computer you are using to access the external drive? From what you have posted so far, I am assuming that the Thunderbird address book you are trying to access was NOT created by the Thunderbird installation on the computer currently accessing the external drive. Nevertheless, the instructions will get you the location of the profile files on the computer you are using for access, you then need only look for a similar directory on the external drive. Also, if you read through the links, you will find that the Thunderbird address book files have a .MAB extension. What happens if you search for .MAB files on the external drive? Note: Make sure that you include Hidden and System folders in your search.
