Gave the 8.1 a quick try this past weekend, not impressed.

Classic menu and such not in there.
Hardware support/compatibility not as thorough as Windows 7...

And in Q1 when he dumped his sizeable 7-year-old investment in Microsoft, (6,079,544 shares), his comment was "a decade of mismanagement has put Microsoft at risk of becoming a shrinking company.".
