wanting to fit an MPEG 5.6 GB movie onto a formatted 8GB ( 7.4 GB available) and my windows 7 pc says not enough space available..
anything I should know to make this work? already formatted this pen flash drive into fat32.. should be able to fit bit won't ....
That's the problem right there. fat32 has a file size limit of 4GB.Quote:

You would either need to use NTFS or exFAT.

what is this symbol .. ??
when trying to use / format to EXFAT says ''windows is unable to complete the format'' .. ??
That symbol is normal for removable drives.
Are you using XP or Win7? That pic looks like XP. If it's XP, did you patch XP for exFAT?

switched the drive to windows 7 and it worked right away .. Thanks resolved ..
Cool. You'll still have to patch XP if you want to use the drive on that system.
