If your PC is running Windows 8 Pro and you'd like to get Windows 8 Media Center Pack so you can watch and record live TV with Windows Media Center, you can take advantage of Microsoft's special offer and receive a free product key. Offer valid from October 26, 2012, until January 31, 2013.

So Win 8 how many versions are there, if just "win 8" as this review said, does not include media center?
I do not have it, saw the review only, never had a version of win that did not have media center?????

So if you buy one with win 8 preinstalled, you need upgrade with the Windows 8 Pro Pack, is that 70.00 as you referred to?

Windows Media Center, which is free for a limited time, only works with Windows 8 Pro. So, if you have Windows 8 (non-Pro), it is $69.99 to upgrade to Pro, and then you can add Windows Media Center for free, for a limited time.

Depends on the number of licence or number of keys that you get. One for one like normal when upgrading the Windows OS.
Media player is a different story though.
