Outlook 2007 issue
Hi all, I have this issue where I could be on the web looking at a webpage and would like to email it to someone.
I go to File-Send-Page by Email, but when I click it nothing happens and I find Outlook.exe running in the processes, which stops me from starting Outlook. There is no Outlook window.
Is there a fix for this as this has been going on for some time now. I checked and Outlook is set as my default email program.
Thanks
Dave

What happens if you start Outlook before you click on the File, Send Page by E-Mail option in IE? Which version of IE are you using, and is it the 32-bit or 64-bit version?

Using IE9 32bit.
I opened Outlook first and it worked. Even though the webpage didn't look right in Outlook, but that's beside the point.
So I closed it and tried with outlook closed and it didn't work. So I closed Outlook.exe in Task Manager and tried send- link by email and it worked.
So I closed everything and tried send webpage and it worked, so then I closed everything and tried again and it didn't work. Got Operation can't be performed, message.
Also get Internet Explorer Security message eveytime I try. A program is attempting to open a website using this program. It says Internet Explorer/Microsoft

The web page doesn't look right in Outlook 2007 -
This is due to the different html engine used in Outlook 2007. Not much you can do about that.
A program is attempting to open a website using this program.

The issue with the Send option working or not working is likely due to the hidden instance of Outlook 2007.
