At a lost with Win 8

I just installed Win 8.
I'm in a complete world. Don't know where to go:(
May I ask you a few questions?
1- With Win 7 : when I downloaded a file, IE saved it in "My Downloads". With Win8 = where "My Downloads" went?
2- With Win 7 : clicking on "my computer" allowed me to see C:\ , D:\ and so on. How to see all my drives on Win8?
3- With Win 7 : under "control panel" I could see all my apps . How to do the same with Win8?

From what I can find, IE10 doesn't have a favorites folder like in IE9 and below: Try this link:
