Getting Video Information - Bit Rate and Frame Rate

Is this the best program to get information on a video file? So far, it is working great since it is also free.

Yeah great program, being using it for a while, very convenient.

So MediaInfo is the best for video and audio? What about pictures?

FastStone Image Viewer is what a lot of us use.

Open a picture in it and move the mouse to left or right side of the screen and you can read EXIF information.

I use this one for getting all info from a photo including the number of your shutter count:

Windows Explorer (Win7) will show exif information as part of the file properties dialog.
It also allows one to remove properties and personal information from the exif data.

Thanks Train but I think I am going to go with PhotoLady on this one since she should know her photo software as her name is "PhotoLady". Hahaha! Ok, enough with the stupid pun.:D:p:);) I believe PhotoMe is what I am looking for.:cool:

Do you mean when I right-click on a file for the property in Window Explorer and go to the detail tab? Is that the EXIF information that you are reffering to?:confused:

Just so you know, I use FastStone also but not for the EXIF data. The details it gives isn't enough IMO. I basically use PhotoME for keeping track of my shutter count because all digital cameras will stop working once it reaches somewhere in the area of 100.000 in shutter presses.

And FastStone also allows you to make certain changes to data.

Yes! I've received photos from my daughter and the exif includes camera model, lat, lon and all the other fields in the Explorer properties dialog.

After ua, said what he said, I checked it out. I found that FastStone's is the same as Windows Explorer.

FastStone is Good enough for me then.

Which version of Photome are you using.

Version .079R17 (build 856). The latest is a beta version.

I use FastStone too for getting EXIF data, the only time I use PhotoMe is when I want to know how many times I have pressed the shutter because img files go to 999 then it turns over and starts again, I believe.

Depends on how the camera is set up. Mine starts up new folder when it hits 1000.

But I have been known to clear the number system and have it start anew. Believe me, I had to read the manual very closely to find how to do that.

Like I said, I use PhotoME to get shutter count, not image count. Right now my K-x has a shutter count of 6,583. And this is the number one using a digital camera needs to be aware of, because as it hits 100,000, the sensor dies and you'll have to buy a new camera. That's for Pentax cameras. I heard though can't prove some other camera brands, the sensor can be changed when that happens. I don't know if this is true and I don't know which brand it is that can change the sensor on.

Img count is about the same so my camera hasn't rolled the image number over and I'm not sure when it will or even if it does.
