Password Box Keeps Opening in Outlook 2007

:confused:I have a custom PC with an ASUS P5N-SLI main board, Intel Core 2 Duo2.13 GHZ, 2 GB DDR2 memory 667 MHZ, Western Digital 250GB SATA 7200, Asus ENGTS250 video card and a Sony DVD RW AW-Q170A CD drives. I’m also running Windows Vista Home Premium. I also use MS Office 2007 and use Outlook as my email client. I use ESET NOD 32 as my A/V.

Today when using Outlook a box kept popping up entitled Enter Network Password. Everything is correct in the box and I kept closing it. I even deleted the password and typed it back in again.

No new software has been installed in about 2 weeks. I will run a virus scan tonight but I recall this happening before with XP Premium.

When you put the password in does it work and then you can send and receive mail?

Sounds like your computer may be attempting to connect to a network drive that requires a username and password?

Yes, when I put the password back in I can send/receive email. So far today I haven't seen the password pop up.

If your .pst file is stored on a network drive that you don't have set to reconnect to at logon, you may get this.
