[RESOLVED] Mouse won't left click
:confused:I have a custom PC with an ASUS P5N-SLI main board, Intel Core 2 Duo2.13 GHZ, 2 GB DDR2 memory 667 MHZ, Western Digital 250GB SATA 7200, Asus ENGTS250 video card and a Sony DVD RW AW-Q170A CD drives. I’m also running Windows Vista Home Premium.
A few days ago I installed drivers for a new Logitech Wireless desktop MK700. The mouse but some of the keyboard hot keys didn’t open my home page or email after I set them. Some other hot keys worked fine.
I uninstalled the drivers, did a system restore and reinstalled the drivers. Now with any mice connected by USB, wireless or straight to the PC won’t left click until I keep clicking or right click and select open. I also did an ESET virus scan. Also, the new Logitech mouse laser light doesn’t light up. I’ve also changed to new batteries several times in the keyboard and mouse. Even with the new drivers uninstalled, none of my mice will left click on desktop folders/links and folders in My Docs. Within IE and Mozilla it works fine for clicking to different sites. No other software has been installed.
My older Logitech Mx 700 was the best they ever made. It’s amazing to this day they can’t make a better mouse.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Mike
