Windows Explorer
I can't stand the new Windows Explorer in Windows 7. Not sure what they were thinking of but XP's version of Windows Explorer was the best.
Is there a way to convert or integrate the XP version in Windows 7?
If you are about to ask what do I not like about it, well, the search, the row selection, the expansion and collapse of folders.
It does have some good new features such as the naviation of folders from the address bar.
But I can live without it if I had Windows XP Explorer.

You can't put the actual XP explorer into 7, but you can use an explorer alternative.

Cool, i did not think of that but that is a good idea.
Is FreeCommander a freeware? hahahaha:D:p One would think from the name right? I have not look at the other two but it is good that it is light footprint and can be carried on a USB stick.
Which one do you recommend?

I'd probably go with FreeCommander, but you might as well try them all. A43 is very light and can also be run from a flash drive.

I use programming language to subhook into Window Explorer. For example, I would use VB to get all the selected files. Wonder if this is going to be as easy.
But thank you for pointing me in the right direction.:)
