how good is this s/w

Dude111, I want to have a s/w, which is free or minimum fee, such that if my laptop is stolen, I can keep track its new location, kill the files etc. How good is the s/w recommended by you? Thanks.

Prey has an excellent reputation, I've recommended it to several people in the past and nobody has ever had a bad word to say about it :)
