Unknow Software
My PC is a Dell Dimension 4300 with Windows XP Home OS with Service Pack 3
I am trying to free up space on my hard drive. Under add/remove programs I find the following:
“CND3D Image transfer failing Versioning Patch” with a size of 3859 MB.
I have no idea what this relates to and am reluctant to delete it in case it affects other programs. Is it safe to delete it and can anyone tell me what this is?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Brian

Do you have, or have you had a program called " Click 'N Design 3D Pro" Installed on your PC? (Sourced from www.stompinc.com)
IF so it is very likely related to that..
Where was this file located? When you check the file properties Who is the manufacturer?

Unknow Software
Hi Undertaker02,
Thanks for the quick reply. I do have "Click 'N Design 3D" installed, but not the pro version. I suspected that this might be related to that program and it is listed right after it in my installed programs when I look at them Under "add/remove programs" from the control panel. When I right click on it, it doesn't display any properties, so I'm unable to tell where it is located.

Brian Sheridan--Is it in the Start|All Programs list? If so a right and then Properties should tell you the location. But finding the location is not going to help much. You do not want to just delete the files at that location. Rather you want to uninstall the program including the Registry entries. If you cannot do that from Add/Remove then try Revouninstaller.

Hi Welshjim,
It isn't in the Start|All Programs list. Since it doesn't seem to be affecting the program I think I'll just leave it alone, since I am reluctant to get involved with the Registry. Thanks much for your help and the Revouinstaller program.

Brian
