[RESOLVED] Recovering dbx files from slaved bad hardrive

I have slaved a non-bootable (corrupted) laptop hardrive onto my desktop and can access all the files for recovering but cannot figure out how to retrieve the Outlook Express files. I've tried to map to the docs & settings/admin/local settings/application data, etc but I cannot locate an admin folder, I think because my wife only had one user set up on the laptop. I have learned just enough about all this to get in over my head (kinda like my carpentry skills).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try going in under her user name.

Here is the actual path of those saved dbx files:

C:\Documents and Settings\#USERNAME#\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Awesome! Worked great. Once I receive a replacemnt hardrive, I will probably need to know more about putting it all back together but will post when I do.

I have rebuilt the new harddrive and have copied the DBX files into the appropriate folder. I can see all of the folders that were previously set up in Outlook Express (with all the the filed emails) but cannot see any of the emails that were in the "Inbox" when the original hardrive failed. There are also no contacts in the address book. Any help is appreciated.
