Auto log off spyware
My father was doing something and I guess somehow downloaded some spyware (he was searching and clicking around Tiger Woods stuff and since he is such a hot topic I'm guessing he picked something up there) So I go in and tell him to download Microsoft Security Essentials, He did, told it to scan and it found several things and when it was done he cleaned them but security essentials said it needed to reboot (I guess to remove some stuff that was currently running) Well when we rebooted he typed in the password and it acted like it was going to login but before seeing any desktop icons it just logged out...
I looked all over Google for 2 hours and can't seem to find anything...I'm seriously done searching at this point because I don't care
I have no details at all...I can not get on to the computer, I can not get into safe mode, I can not edit the registry, I can not disable the startup programs, I can't log in with the Admin account...I can't do anything...
I tried going into the recovery console and running the command "copy userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe" but it did nothing.
I thought a program or something that could bypass the login would work but finding one of those is like finding a needle in a haystack (which is possible but really)
(Reformatting is not an option even if I copied the files off the drive, I don't want to format the drive)

We can't tell you how to bypass a password. That's not an option for us to give you as it's against our AUP.
What is the OS on this computer?
If it's XP, you could try a repair install. This will leave everything except Service Packs and updates intact.

Yeah I gave up and did a repair, I'm able to get on the desktop and whatnot but everything inside the "Desktop" tab in Display Properties is grayed, I can't change the wallpaper, I've tried just about everything but it remains grayed out...There is an html file in there called "critical_warning" which isn't the active wallpaper but it was before I repaired
I've got spybot and some other stuff running at the moment
