I have an old HP intel laptop. I installed win 7 but having issues in connecting with the wireless. I came to know that intel has released some patch for its laptop wireless. The wireless is PRO/Wireless 2200BG. Does anybody know about it ?

Alright, the wireless connects but shows as unidentified network with no internet access. Upon opening the network sharing center it shows as public network. How do I change it to
home network ? Maybe that will allow internet access ?
Well, I found the solution.
there are many folks having issues with win 7 - unidentified network (public network).
Open up cmd as administrator - type route delete 0.0.0.0 and you will get confirmation OK!
Then I put in the values (my router) in ipv4 and it connected instantly.
