Yup, leave then go, always get your updates from the manufacturers website.
I concur. Despite knowing better, just the other week I tried one of those recommended hardware updates for the NIC on my new rig. Needless to say, it left me completely without a network connection at all, and I had to reinstall the driver :rolleyes:
yes you should always download your computer updates from the manufacturer.
