If you're referring to those programs that claim to offer thousands of free tv channels from around the world on your tv... they're a complete waste of time and money. total junk.
First of all 95 percent of them really are from around the world. That means not in english.... Each channel from individual countries are in their native language.. many dozens of different languages.
Second, most are offline 90 percent of the time and when they are online they buffer constantly and when you can watch them they're usually low grade streams... badly pixelated and small frame size.
If you want to watch the streams that usually do work like BBC news or a few other news or sports related sites (in english) then go to the original broadcasters website where the link quality is better... or use this site....
http://www.fomny.com/USA-TV.php
It offers way more than any of those programs.. the links actually work.
Thanks fink for your very helpful response. You have saved me $29.95 Thanks again
You're welcome. :)
I watch TV on my computer using Hulu and Netflix, I've also used TV Tuners and connected cable and antennas to my computer to watch TV through a TV Tuner program or Windows Media Center.
